SISLER, SHIRLEY JEAN (nee Stephens): Passed away peacefully at Cobourg on December 26, 2011 in her 88th year. Devoted wife of the late Sidney McLellan Sisler (1995),daughter of the late Ernest and Irene Stephens, Dunnville. Dear mother of Sylvia (George) and Stewart (Donna). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Stewart Jr. and Stephanie and great-grandchild Cindi. Dear sister of Douglas (Vera). Predeceased by sisters Lois (Earl) and Doris (John) and brother Donald (Faye). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, December 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 30 at 11 am. Interment at the Caistorville United Church Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations made to the Dunnville Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
