MARSHALL, EARL: Suddenly at his home in Caistor Centre on Thursday, November 10, 2011, Earl Lorne Marshall in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Darlene (nee Rosenberger) for 49 years. Loving father of Paul and Shirley, Keith and Sherri, and Kelly and Chris Miner. Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Jillana, Craig, Troy, Ryan, Christopher, Erin, Samantha and Alex. Dear brother of Harold (Betty) and Lyall (Carolyn). Earl will be missed by Ken Marshall. Predeceased by his parents Irvine and Lorna Marshall. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Monday, November 14 at 11 am. Inurnment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a future date. Special thanks to the Firefighters of West Lincoln Station 2, Niagara Regional Police, Niagara EMS and Dr. Juriansz.
