DERENIOWSKI, Jessie (nee Salata): At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Monday, October 18, 2010 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Dereniowski (2001). Loving mother and mother-in-law of John and Jennifer, Marilyn and the late Art Robins, Linda and the late Frank Bird, Carol Walters and Brad Sebrosky. Cherished grandmother of John (Dana), Aaron (Stephanie), Naomi (Dan), Amy (Steve), Julie, Denver and Aleah (Greg) and great grandmother of Jacob, Jesse, Emily, Aiden and Isabelle. Dear sister of Bennie and Estelle Salata and sister-in-law of Helen Downs and Lucy Salata. Predeceased by her brother Ted Salata, sister Sophie, sisters-in-law Julia Hysert and Stella Leonard and brothers-in-law Stan, Bill and Ted Dereniowski. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation to be followed by private interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions to the Cancer Society or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
