BOYKO, JOHN: With great sadness, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 with his family at his side. John Alec Boyko of Caistor Centre, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Madeline Boyko (nee Farrell) for 61 years. Loving father of Pat and Earl Joyner, Bev and Tony Mataseje, Jackie and David Gollwitzer, Janet and Dave Reburn, Gail Boyko, Gary and Linda Boyko, Don and Sharon Boyko, Debbie and Gary Tataryn, and Daryl and Cheryl Boyko. Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Jennifer, Jonathan, Bryan, Bradley, Brittany, Connor and Travis. Dear brother of Martin and Ferne, Helen (and the late George) Herechuck, and Ann (and the late Myron) Smilsky. John was an employee of Dofasco for 32 years and a long time Caistor area farmer. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Saturday, April 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Private family funeral service with inurnment at Zion Cemetery.
