RENNIE, ROBERT (Bob): Peacefully, with his loving wife Barb and family at his side, after a short battle with cancer, on Sunday, March 15, 2009, Robert (Bob) William Rennie of Grimsby, in his 55th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Mitchell) for 31 years. Loving brother of Wes, Terry and Val, Daniel, and Sandra and John Berry. Bob will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his many friends. Dear son-in-law of Ruth Mitchell, and brother-in-law of Doug and Carolyn, Jim and Elaine, Terry and Marie, Ron and Donna, and George. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Marg Rennie, and father-in-law Doug Mitchell. Bob was an employee of O'Brien Installations in Stoney Creek for over twenty years. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The memorial service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Saturday, March 21 at 11 am. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to the Staff of the Emergency Department and C Ward at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for the special care given to Bob during his last days.
