REMMELZWAAL, ARIE: On Monday, June 15, 2009, Arie "the DJ" Remmelzwaal of Smithville, in his 56th year. Arie passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his life partner and best friend Bonnie Harper, his children Nicole, Justin and Alexandra, and his step-children Robert, Jamie and Darrin Harper. He is also survived by his parents Dirk and Barbara, his sisters Ingrid Beck (Wayne), Carmen Remmelzwaal, Barb Jenkins (Ron), Marjorie Johnson (Wayne) and brother John, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. A Celebration of Life to take place at the Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Saturday, June 20 at 1 pm. Refreshments and fellowship to follow at the Smithville Legion, 172 St. Catharines Street, Smithville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home. Click here for directions to the Church
