MOESKER, Lucas Meindert Luke Moesker of Wellandport passed away peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at the age of 85. Beloved father of Pat and Kornelis VanderWier, Roely Duru, Mark and Margaret Moesker, Martin and Alice Moesker. Cherished Grandfather to 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Fenny (Martin †) and brother Ralph (Henny). Predeceased in 1972 by his wife Bartha (Bijzitter), also an infant granddaughter and a great granddaughter, his brothers Mark (Theresa and Jake), Lloyd (Dien) and sister Roely (Harm). Remembered by Ina, his friends and family in Holland. The family received friends at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street in Smithville, Ontario L0R 2A0. Visiting hours were Tuesday, February 24 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life was held at the Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Rd., Smithville, Ontario L0R 2A0 on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. A private family internment took place at the Riverside Cemetery in Wellandport.
