KILPATRICK, BARBARA: At the WillowGrove in Ancaster on Saturday, February 7, 2009, Barbara Lillian Kilpatrick (nee Shepherd) of Hamilton, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Kilpatrick, and loving mother of Deb and Walter Stokes, Bev Silverthorne and Dave Bruce, and Susan and Brian Komenda. Cherished grandmother of Benj and Andrea Stokes, Danielle and Jon Beare, Zach and Erin Silverthorne, Josh and Liz Silverthorne, Luke Komenda and Briar Komenda, and great-grandmother of Hunter, Spencer, Mya, Jona, Opal, Mackenzie and Jerzey. Predeceased by brothers Alex Shepherd and Howard Shepherd and sister Jean Ecker. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Jane Shepherd and Velma Shepherd and brother-in-law Ivan Carruthers. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 9 at 11 am at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 216 Station Street Smithville with visitation beginning at 10 am. Inurnment St. Luke's Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to the nurses at WillowGrove and her roommate Marlene Binkley for their loving care and friendship.
