IRVINE, RON: Suddenly and unexpectedly in Kingston on Monday, May 18, 2009, husband and best friend of Jean (Calway) for 36 years, Ronald James Irvine of Caistorville at 63 years of age. Beloved father of Michelle and Mike Podd, Cherie and Mike Landry, Misty Irvine, and Ryan and Lesleigh Irvine. Cherished grandfather of Alison, Ashley, Zackary, Sarah, Nathan, Christian, Emileigh, Lindie, and Lexie. Dear brother of Sandra and the late Bud Burgess, and uncle of Mark and Noreen Burgess, Kevin Burgess and great-uncle of Jennifer and Susan. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Marie Irvine. In addition, he leaves behind many, many dear friends. Ron was an avid outdoorsman and an "outstanding" hunter, fisherman and trapper. An Open House will be held at the Caistor Community Centre (Abingdon Hall), 9184 Silver Street (Regional Rd 65 at Abingdon Road) in Caistor Centre, on Friday, May 29 from 3-9 pm.
