DIXON, ERNEST (SLIM): Peacefully, with his family at his side on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, Ernest (Slim) James Dixon of Smithville (formerly of Grimsby) in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen Dixon (nee Dietrich). Sadly missed by his surviving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and sister. Ernest was retired from Dufferin Concrete. A private family funeral service has been held with interment at Queens Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
