Condolences
My deepest condolences to my bro (Harvey) and Will. I got close to the family when I looked after Margaret.I used to tease George especially that I was the sister he always wanted and never had. He thought that idea was absolutely crazy. RIP George love from your sis Jeanie xoxo
Our deepest condolences to all the Spittal family in the loss of George. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
Betty Dubec (Pearson) and family
The Spittal family is very dear to us. There are not words that truly express how sad we are for this senseless loss. Deepest condolences, Kyle and Sarah MacDonald
We extend our deepest sympathies to Will and Harvey and their families.
The loss is heartbreaking as are the circumstances.
My Dad, Jim Atkinson, considered George a younger brother; as he did the three younger "boys". Every weekend of my childhood included a visit to Uncle Tom and Aunt Margaret's farm. George was 15 years my senior and l had the biggest "little girl" crush on him :)
He always had time for his little cousin and patience galore.
George was always warm and gentle with me; never a harsh word.
I have treasured memories of George and the farm that I will carry in my heart forever. Until we meet again.
Always remembered with love.
Joe & Cathy Merritt (nee Atkinson)
