Obituary of Maureen Francis Walsh

It is with a heavy heart that Maureen left this world on Aug 14, 2024 peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. A life lived to the fullest, she was a beacon of light, a magnet of fun, and a friend to all.

 

Known for her quick wit and being a social butterfly, Maureen was always the life of the party whether dancing the night away, singing or playing bingo and cards with her friends at Cresent View Lodge where she resided in recent years.

 

Maureen is predeceased by her loving grandchildren Terrance, Christopher, and Kiesha. She is survived by her husband Charles Walsh Sr. of 47 years. Where they enjoyed a life of travelling! children Tammy (Chris), Charlene (Lance), Chuck(Samantha), and her beautiful grandchildren Caitlin (Shadi), Austin (Alicia), Nicholas, Madisyn (Tyler) Braedyn, Alannah, Chloe, Jaylynn, and her great granddaughter Joni. Her memory will live on in her brother Doug.

 

A celebration of life is being held in Maureen’s memory, will take place on September 28, at Brebeauf Hall, Port Colborne. The Celebration starts at 4:00p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Ronald MacDonald House. 

 

Maureen, your memory will forever be a source of joy. You will always be remembered as “everybody’s Mom”.
