Obituary of Ann Mary Stancik

STANCIK, ANN MARY (nee. OSWALD)

 

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mom on Monday June 3, 2024, a few days shy of her 92nd birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband John (1991), son Johnny (2016), parents Joseph (1961) and Anna Russ (1988), brothers Joe (2003) his wife Joan (2007) and Eddie (2004). Mom was born in Garson, Ontario on June 7, 1932. Mom and Dad married on October 23, 1954 and together they farmed in Smithville.. Mom will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted daughters, Mary (Doug) and Elizabeth (Mark). We thank the Compassionate and caring staff of St. Peter’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Family Dr, Dr Paul Andrus, Nurses, PSW’s from Bayshore, St. Elizabeth’s and Paramed. To honour our Mom's wishes, a private family service has taken place with interment Smithville United Church cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville.
