Bill was born in Antigonish, N.S., to William John Kell andSarah (nee Rogers). The family later moved to Toronto where Bill met the love of his life.
A loving and devoted husband of 64 years to Maureen (nee Power), Bill was father to Jean (Robert); Donna-Lynn; Daniel (Jennifer); and Bill Jr. (Gina). Bill will also be sadly missed by grandchildren Jennifer; Jason; Joseph; Christina; Daniel; Jordan; Joshua; Nicholas; and Cassandra; and great-grandchildren Sydney; Xavier; Owen; and Benjamin.
In addition to immediate family, Bill leaves behind sisters Jean; Patricia; Eileen; and Joyce; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a business leader and an award-winning truck franchise owner in Mississauga. He was a minor hockey coach, and enjoyed golf and travel, including international cruises, with his wife, Maureen, and their good friends. He was kind to animals, and loved to walk their Wheaten Terrier, Chico, and spoil the family cat, Ralph. Bill will be remembered for his kindness, humour and ready smile.
According to Bill’s wishes, a private mass of Christian burial is taking place at St Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Smithville in June.
