Obituary of Antonio Jose Moutinho Ferreira

Please share a memory of Antonio to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Our beloved Antonio “Tony” Ferreira passed away suddenly on Sunday May 26 at the age of 69. He was born in Portugal to Jose and Delfina.  Tony was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend with a love for music and his favourite soccer team, Benfica.

His life was cut too short, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by him understand that his existence and the imprint he left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that he stayed here.

Tony is survived by his wife Maria Lucia, son Ricardo Ferreira, stepdaughters Elizabeth Catarino (Carlos) and Sandra Campbell (Stuart), grandchildren Cyrus, Logan and Minda, step grandchildren Ashton, Sheldon, Nicole, Lexi (Isaac) and Sierra, step great-grandchild Harrison, sisters Milu (Tony), Cina (Nelson, deceased), Toninha, Manela (Gero), Clara (Manel), Teresinha (Carlos) and all his many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his first wife Arminda (Ricardo’s mother).
