Condolences
We were so sorry to hear this news and would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Randy, the children and all the family in your loss. We remember Wendy so clearly from our shared life at Fruitland CRC and as parents at John Knox. A lovely person, always cheerful and friendly. We wish you strength as you grieve.

We were blessed to know and love Wendy through the years she helped guide our kids through school. She was always welcoming and helpful and even took our son Ryan home with her one day when we were late picking him up from school. Wendy was a treasure to our community and we will miss her. We will remember you, Wendy - Nevin, Heather, Ryan and Liam Roelfsema

Our sincere condolences to you and all of her extended family, many of you whom we have gotten to know over the years.
Dear Randy, Jenelle & Jeremy, Tarin & Levi, Braden and Jesse,
Wendy was such a special person. She loved all of you so much and spoke of you often. I’ve been privileged to be her co-worker and through that became her friend. She will be missed by many but by you most of all. We promise to uphold you in prayer and send love and hugs your way.
(Wendy always called Rick Richard A and they both had a love for Camaros.)

We remember Wendy along with so many others. She touched so many lives in so many ways. Having mutual friends gave us an opportunity to occasionally see each other over the years since high school; it was always a pleasure. Your warm hugs said so much.
We will all miss her Randy. Thinking of you as you continue your journey through life without your sweet wife.

Wendy and I met each other at Fruitland CRC and quickly became involved in the same things. Our daughters Monique and Janelle became lifelong best friends at Story Hour during Coffee Break. That led to visits between the two families. Wendy and I were actively involved in many years of Vacation Bible School which was always lots of fun. Our children went to Christian school together and then later for many years Wendy was school secretary and I was ‘the piano teacher’. She always was ready with a smile and a helping hand ! Loved to add extra touches to my recital programs to make them beautiful! She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I feel privileged to have known her.
Dear Randy and Family,
I am very saddened to hear of Wendy's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
"May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.' Although I didn't know Wendy, I feel as though her life was significant in making that significant difference in this world. Find comfort in that thought and we are thinking of you and her suffering has ceased.
'The greatest gift you can give another is the purity of your attention.' The world is thankful this this blessing.(R. Moss) Sincerely, Caroline, Greg & Derek Breadman
I am so sorry for your great loss. I have such fond memories of Wendy. She was so welcoming to me when we met in our early adulthood. My thoughts will be with you, Randy and family. I hope you find peace and strength in knowing how much people loved her.
Dear Jenelle and Families, we are very sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet Mom.
Wendy was a dynamo at all she did, going above and beyond, whether guiding a family at Cairn, helping a fellow colleague, to baking the best cookies for her beautiful grandchildren - an absolute Super RockStar!
Her integrity and perseverance inspired and encouraged everyone around her, and her fighting skills against this disease demonstrated resilience.
Wendy's joyful spirit and love of life shone reflecting God's glory in His perfect creation of her.
Wendy holds a special place in our hearts and we are very thankful to have shared adventures in life with her and you all as part of God's Big Story.
Paradise is filled with Wendy's love as she cruises in her favourite Randy restored vintage car basking in God's Almighty presence. She is at peace.
May the peace and comfort she has being wrapped in His eternal loving arms now bring peace and comfort to all during this sad time.
With peace, light, and love to you all.
~ Nadine, Dave, and Sebastien

My deepest condolences to Randy and the family. I only met Wendy a couple times, but she seemed like a wonderful lady. Cherish your memories of her.
I first met Wendy when I drove bus for Cairn Christian School, and her smile helped ease my nerves of a new area. She was always kind and had a hello and a smile to give. I always looked forward to seeing her when I'd go into the school. She was a delight and a true server of the Lord. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed dearly! I'll never forget her grace and kindness. Rest in peace.
Such a sad day for so many. Wendy was fun and saved me on many occasions at car shows when I had had enough. She walked with me amongst the cars & made me laugh. When I moved to Grimsby Wendy helped me settle in, even finding me a family doctor. Also, 10 years of book club together. Truly wonderful times & I will miss her. xoxo
My sincere condolences to Randy and the family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you all . I have known her and her family for many years since ,she is a great person and mother. She will be sadly missed. Xoxo
