O’Brien, Robert John “Bob” “Obie”
Peacefully at home in Smithville, Robert John “Bob” O’Brien passed away in his 74th year. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years Joyce O’Brien. He will be missed by his children Kim and Tim (Brooke). Bob will be remembered by his grandchildren Justin, Dylan, Callie, Ruby, Ellie, Myles, and great-grandson Waylon. He is survived by his siblings Patty (George), Cathy (Steven), and Jerry. He was loved and missed by many other extended family and friends. Obie loved his 40 years at Stelco, his mustang and his golf league. Arrangements have been entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville. If desired, memorial donations to the McNally House Hospice would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
