Obituary of Mary Fraser

Mary Fraser passed peacefully on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of Jimmy† and Nancy† and will be dearly missed by her husband John. Mary will live on in the hearts of her daughter Brenda (Bradley) and grandson Cian. She was loved by her brothers and sisters: Brenda† (Paddy), Ita (Dony†), Una† (Padraig), Dympna (Peter), Jimmy (Eileen), and Eoin (Fionnuala). Mary will be remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, godchildren, family, and friends. She loved family gatherings and went out of her way to make them extra special. Mary was always thinking of others; offering a cup of tea, a scone and a chat whenever needed. She had a warm smile and a quick wit that she readily shared with everyone. Visitation will take place at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, June 8th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, June 8th, at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street, Smithville at 1:30 pm.
