Jan. 11, 1917 Barneveld Gld - March 25, 2023 Grimsby, ON

On March 25, 2023 at Shalom Manor, our dear mother, oma, great oma and great-great oma at the age of 106 went peacefully to her Lord and Saviour. Predeceased by her beloved husband Cornelius(1998), sons Hendrik(1951)and John(2017), daughter-in-law Olga(1993), grandsons David(1994) and Ryan(2006) and great-grandson Maverick(2020). She will be dearly missed by her children: Bill (Leny), (John t) Viola, Harry (Linda), Grace (Kor), Klaasje (Henk), Keith (Ann), Angie (Randy), Henry (Maria), Faye (Louis), Gary (Clara). Much loved Oma of 56 grandchildren & partners, 119 great-grandchildren & partners and 28 great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her twin sisters Willie & Dillie & extended family in the Netherlands as well as extended family and friends here in Canada especially her Evergreen Terrace “family”. We want to say a special thank you to ALL the staff at Shalom Manor for the love and tender care that you gave our mother.

Visitation at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main St. East, Grimsby on Friday, March 31, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. Funeral service at Mountainview Church on Saturday, April 1 at 11:00 am. Private family interment preceding the funeral at Union cemetery, Smithville.  Donations to Shalom Manor or McNally House Hospice would be appreciated by the family and if desired can be made through the funeral home, (905)957-7031
