Obituary of Jean Tennier

Was born on April 18, 1942 in Mission, British Colombia and departed on October 7, 2022. Predeceased by her husband John Tennier (d. 2011), parents Mary Kidd and John Robert Hartley, and brothers Winston and Harvey. Survived by daughters Gayle (Kevin), Heather (Dave), and Krista (William) and son John Tennier. She will be missed by Grandchildren Matthew, Kristopher, Andrew, Brian, Jessica, Jonathan, Isabelle, Madelyn, Nathaniel, and Cate. Jean was a great grandma to Mason, Oliver, and Eira. Member of the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1961-1966. Dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #393 and Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville on Thursday October 13, 2022 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm with a Legion/Funeral Service taking place following the visitation. A time of fellowship and refreshment will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #393 following the services.
