It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Susan Joanne Allen (nee Price) our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at the age of 72. Susan will be lovingly remembered by her husband and golf companion Brian of 52 years. Loving mother to Cathy and Bill Vitucci and Pam and Ben Heaslip. Cherished Gramma to Callen, Emma, Trevor, Cooper, Natalie, Addison and Ian. Susan will be dearly missed by her siblings Gary and Carol, Tim and Ulana, Douglas and Liz, Barbara and Greame. Sister In-law Marilyn. Cousin Colleen and childhood friend Joanie and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends will miss “Sue Sue” dearly. Susan will once again hold in her arms daughter Joanne (1983) and her angel babies Robyn and April (2009). She was predeceased by her parents, Willard and Lorraine Price, Herbert and Mildred Allen and sister in-law Gehl Dallas. Over the years Susan spent many hours volunteering with the West Lincoln Skating Club, The Red Cross, and College St. School.  Susan enjoyed golfing, bowling, sudoku and reading. Her grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life, she was so proud of them all and loved watching them live their best lives. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street, Smithville.
