Obituary of Manuel Raposo da Silva

DA SILVA, MANUEL:  At his home on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, Manuel da Silva passed away at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of Maria da Silva for 59 years.  Loving father of Seraphin da Silva (Svetlana Shmyk), Judy Crockett, and Armand da Silva (Michelle).  Manuel was loved by his many grandchildren Ansley (Christeena), Nathan, Jordan, Ashley, Makayla, Rebecca, Erica, Ethan, and great grandson Logan.  Dear brother of Josefina Pavao, and Maria Carvalho.  Predeceased by sister Jurdelina Mota.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, July 6 from 3-7 p.m. with Prayers at 3:30 p.m.  Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Saturday, July 7 at 11 a.m. with interment at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Cemetery.  Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and if desired can be made through the funeral home.
