KILLINS, JUNE: On Wednesday, July 22, 2009, Betty June Killins (nee St. John) passed away at Edgewater Gardens in Dunnville, after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Gordon Killins. Survived by daughter Lee Ramage (nee Killins), son-in-law Jamie, and two grandchildren Meg and Jordan Ramage. June was a member of the Smithville United Church and still thought of Smithville as her home to the end. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, July 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery. The family wishes to commend the nursing staff of Edgewater Gardens for their compassionate care and memorial donations to Edgewater Gardens would be greatly appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
