ARGUIN, JOHN: Surrounded by his loving family on February 5, 2017 at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby, Ontario, John (Jean) Willie Arguin of Smithville, and formerly of Hamilton, passed away peacefully in his 68th year. Born in Gravelborough, Saskatchewan, John now reunites with his parents Marcel (1988) and Yvette (2002). John was a loving brother to Albert (Debbie) Arguin, Jeanne (Roy) Purchase, Alice Arguin, and Gilles (Anne) Arguin, and proud Uncle to Michael Chiocchio, Scott (Antonette) Buchanan, Michelle Arguin, Tommy (Kelly) Purchase, Heather (Alex) Moroz, Tamara (Pierre) Seguin, Stephanie Arguin (Rob), and Rev. Matthew Arguin. He was an amazing Great Uncle to Sumar Arguin, Chelsea Magill, Michael Chiocchi, Cassandra and Jessica Buchanan, Mickayla Purchase, Ashton and Shawnee Bain, and Mylene, Kaleb, Brielle and Liam Seguin. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, February 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 with Prayers at 3:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours' Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Friday, February 10 at 11 a.m. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to St. Joseph's Hospital, Juravinski Cancer Clinic, wards C3, ICU, CICU, the doctors, nurses and support staff were wonderful. A very special thank you to the McNally House Hospice in Grimsby for the loving and compassionate care they showed both John and our family. Memorial donations to McNally House Hospice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
