Obituary of Violet Susan Fearns

FEARNS, VIOLET: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, Violet Susan Fearns (nee Corman) of Caistor Centre passed away in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late James Fearns (2004). Loving mother of Eleanor Mayhew (George) and Doug Fearns, and predeceased by her children Harry, Will and Maryann. Cherished grandmother of Susan (Brian), James (Shannon), Ruthann (Rob), Joanne (Jeff), Chris (Holly), and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Gibson (the late Ellis). Visitation on Sunday, January 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 30 at 11 a.m. Interment Caistorville United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to McNally House Hospice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
