Obituary of Cornelis Timmerman

TIMMERMAN, CORNELIS: After 89 years of a full and blessed life Cor has been called Home to be with his Heavenly Father on June 28, 2016. Beloved husband of Johanna for 63 years. Loving father of John and Yvonne, Harry and Joan, Grace and Erwin Raaber, Jean and Paul Koornneef, Ron and Shirley, and Marilyn and Bert Hogeveen. Opa for 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Cor also leaves behind a sister Jesse VanEngen (Willem 1983) and sister-in-law Ina Timmerman (Henk, 2014). He was predeceased by granddaughter Carla (1983). The family would like to thank the staff at Shalom Manor and Gardens for the wonderful care given to Cor over the last year. Visitation will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, July 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment at Lane Cemetery will precede the funeral service that will be held at the Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Road, Smithville on Monday, July 4 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Peter Janssens officiating. If desired, memorial donations to Shalom Manor and Gardens would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home. ~ Psalm 27 v.4 ~
